EMMA MCCARTHY, THE LATEST ARRIVAL ON THE POP INDIE MUSIC SCENE, RELEASES HER BRAND NEW SINGLE, ‘WORTH THE WAIT’.

Emma McCarthy is a singer-songwriter from the West Midlands. Emma built up a following for herself through posting covers on her Instagram, as well as taking part in performances, she kicked the year off with a solo gig at The Famous Pint Pot and recently took part in the Lockdown Livewire event, alongside artists such as Josie Proto and Myriad.

Worth The Wait is Emma’s debut single, and the first original content we’ve heard from her. The single brings youthful poppy melodies, and it’s clear Emma is a storyteller with her lyrics. Speaking about Worth The Wait, Emma says “this song is looking at mixed feelings. The feeling of knowing you like someone but not wanting to take things too fast, and even though you maybe wanting to take things slow with someone, you can still massively care about them.”
