No stranger to the pop industry scene Dan Reynard, under the alias KiD RAiN has just released his vibrant, debut single ‘Say Yes’.
Pop fanatics may recognise Reynard’s cheeky grin and energetic vocals from his previous success as front-man of PM:, a band that rose to fame after supporting The Vamps on their 2018 tour. Two years later, KiD RAiN has suddenly appeared, bringing refreshing indie-pop and anthemic energy to the scene.
Talking about the inspiration behind the song, and showing his quirky humour and an affinity for unusual capitalisations KiD RAiN says; “SaY YeS has a very personal spot in my heart because believe it or not, by the time I was 19 years young I had already proposed to 12 people and 2 animals. They all liked me I think but apparently, the “timing wasn’t right” haha you get it. Haven’t seen them since but it’s cool. Anyway, this song is about realising you’ve found “the one” and praying they don’t reject you like the 12 other people and 2 animals before them.”
The pop banger ‘Say Yes‘ mixed by Will Reeves will get stuck in your head after a first listen, with catchy lyrics and an infectious beat that you cannot fail to dance along to! The vibrant single is matched by the spontaneously shot music video, set in Kampung Warna Warni Jodipan (the Village of Colour).
